Roy Kammerman died peacefully at home on February 21, 2006. He was a kind, and loving man with a wonderful sense of humor. He lived his life without judging others and gave himself everywhere to almost everyone. He lived life fully--enjoying most everything in his path. He was a happy man who showed no anger or violence to others; he welcomed strangers as friends into his life. He was a sailor, on the ocean, and on the sea of his life. He took the calm with the storms. Always steady, he was a mentor and guide to many.
He wrote comedy, first for radio and then television; he published several political satires.
He is survived by two of his children. We are profoundly grateful and appreciative of his beautiful caregivers who enabled a wonderful final year of his life. Thank you to his friends who have been so close and true.
Memorials should be forwarded to Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles.
