I will always carry happy and loving memories of my time spent with Mrs. Gonzalez. Her loving smile, our conversations and her openness to make me feel apart of her family is unforgettable.

My foundest memory of my grandmother was when I was about five years old and I had received shoots in my leg from my doctor. They had hurt really bad so I made a big scene saying how I could not walk. She cared for me that whole day and we had this running joke about her being my servant. This just shows how caring and wonderful my grandmother was. I know now that she is in heaven with my daughter taking care of her the same way she took care of me. I love her and miss her. She will be with me until we met again.

My deepest sympathy and heart felt prayers goes out to the family whom I love dearly.  I wish there was something I could do or say to take away your sorrow.  Please take comfort in the thought that she is not suffering and lived a long love filled life.  We all should be so blessed.  Tillie will be missed but never forgotten.

I have been blessed to have the best Nina (godmother) ever!! I love and will miss very much...   As a child I can remember at Easter time my Nina always had a Big solid Easter bunny just waiting for me.(*_*)   Also, admiring my Nina as she would crochet in her chair.   I will always cherish the times we shared in my heart forever.

I'm really going to miss my aunt Tillie but I know we will all meet up again when my time is done here. I know she is in a better  place, free from pain and suffering. Her home always felt like "home" when we would go to L.A for a visit. My memories of her are times when her and Uncle Alex would come to our house and we would go to the county fair. Also the many times her and Uncle Alex would ask me how my cat looked after it was ranned over (which I don't remember doing when I was 4yrs old) or the sounds my Dad would make after he ate beans.=)I guess being the youngest, everyone always remembers the embarrassing things I did or said when I was younger! I have blankets she made for my babies when they were born and will always keep them as a reminder of her warmth and kindness. She will forever be missed and loved.

I will miss my sister very much.  Her house is the first place we go to when we go to L.A. She always welcomes us with smiles and hugs and then feeds us! One of my memories is when her and Alex went to Reno and I gave her $5 and some numbers to play for me and she had won some money for us by playing Keno. The next day, Pete called in "sick" and we spent the day at the horse races and then we went out to dinner. The waiter brought Alex some wine to sample. Just the way he looked when he swished the wine around in his mouth cracked us up! The was a good day. She was very lucky. Not just at gambling but at picking the best man to be her life long friend and lucky to have 5 beautiful kids who loved her.

My heart aches for my Uncle Alex and my cousins. You were so blessed to have such a caring and loving wife and mother, the ultimate example to us all of a good woman.  She taught us so much by example in her no-nonsense way. Many of my fondest childhood memories are from days/summers spent at Bataan St.  She cared for me as a child (although Aunt Ralphie changed my diapers!) and nurtured me as an adult.  I will always miss her hugs, kisses, food (including zucchini bread) , stories (she LOVED talking about her kids and grandkids), recipes and crochet projects, all of which she shared so freely and with so much pride and love.  We believe she was welcomed to the afterlife into the loving arms of those who prepared a place for her.  She was special and loved by us all and will be forever missed. I am keeping you all in my prayers.

It seems to me that in most every family there is someone or someplace that is an anchor for that family.   And that's what Aunt Tillie was to The Trujillo Family. Her presence and home were always a happy safe haven for all.   She and Uncle Alex were an example to us all of what a happy marriage and family was all about.   This example will be passed on for many generations to come.   God Bless You Aunt Tillie, I'll Miss You.

Dear Family,   I am very sorry about our loss in the family. I know that this past week has been the hardest for all of us. I want to let you all know that I love and miss Aunt Tillie with all my heart. I am really sorry that I was not able to attend the funeral and viewing, but this week has been really hard for me at school since I am getting close to finals. I want to share a memory of mine about our dear Aunt: When I was little, I always remember visiting Aunt Tillie with my mom and sister. I was always afraid to go and I never told anyone. The reason why I was scared to vist was because of the wall full of dolls. There were so many dolls filled in a glass case but you had to look at them in order to watch T.V. I thought those dolls were so creepy, but I never wanted to say so. I think the one person who is taking Aunt Tillie's death the hardest is my mother,Carol. Aunt Tillie was like a mother to my mom and practically raised her. My mom loves her so much and I hate to see my mother miss someone so much. I know now that Aunt Tillie is with GOD and with Nancy.
