Michael Bowman, a resident of Torrance, passed away June 14, 2010. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and died at Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Roberta Bowman (Bobbie), daughter, Janine Miller and son-in-law, Jeff Miller of Torrance; mother, Edith Bowman of Manhattan Beach; sister, Judy Bark of Redondo Beach; two nieces, Ernette Erlenbusch of Pleasanton and Michelle Murphy of Torrance; four nephews, Ken Erlenbusch of Turlock, Matt Bark of La Quinta, Joe Bark of Rancho Palos Verdes, and Andy Bark of Palos Verdes Estates.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd., Torrance, CA. 90503. In memory of Michael, contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to: The Lung Cancer Foundation of America, 15 South Franklin St., New Ulm, MN 56073.
