Nathaniel Wayne Trembath a fifty five year resident of Playa Del Rey passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at home. He was 84. Born in Hagerstown, MD, Nathaniel moved to California in 1954, shortly after graduating from MIT and marrying his wife of 53 years, Barbara. Nathaniel was a 37 year employee of TRW when he retired in 1992 as Vice President for Programs, for the System Integration Group. Nathaniel was Vice President and General Manager of the Ballistic Missile Division, at Norton AFB which was responsible for assisting the Air Force in perfecting the Minuteman and Peacekeeper Missile System. Nathaniel is survived by his sister, Mrs. Marion Anders of Rochester, NY, son Mark Trembath of Playa Del Rey, CA, son, Daniel Trembath and daughter-in-law, Julie Trembath, of Oceanside, CA, son, Philip Trembath and daughter-in-law, Carrie Trembath, of Playa Del Rey, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, mother, Sue Trembath, father, Karl Trembath and sister Frances Ales.Services will be held at White and Day Mortuary on Sunday July 31, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
