Nicholas Jacob Donatoni, age 69, passed away on May 3, 2012. After graduating from Santa Monica High School, he worked for Pioneer Bakery for 25 years. Nicholas was a regular at the Redondo Beach Pier, taking the bus to enjoy the ocean and meet his friends. He loved baseball, supporting the Dodgers and collecting baseball cards, and watching old movies. Being a very caring and loving person, spending time with his 16 nieces and nephews was one of Nicholas's favorite things to do. Nicholas is survived by sister, Jacquelyn Campbell. The visitation will be held at Rice Mortuary on Tuesday May 8 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Lawrence Martyrs Church on Wednesday May 9 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
