Peggy de la Garrigue-Wyss passed away in her home on Sunday, February 15, 2004. Peggy is survived by her husband Joseph Wyss of Manhattan Beach, her daughters Carolyn Weaver of Redlands, Jeannette Parker of Landers, and Dianne de la Garrigue of Hermosa Beach, her father Howard Goble of Venice, 2 brothers Wayne Goble of Venice and Wesley Goble of Slidell, Louisiana, and 6 grandchildren.
Born in Venice, California, Peggy and her brothers grew up on the canals of Venice, where her father still lives. She graduated from Venice High School, was married and moved to Manhattan Beach. A Manhattan Beach resident for more than 40 years, Peggy worked for a local doctor for many years as well as the City of Manhattan Beach at City Hall.
A memorial mass will be held at American Martyrs on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at 10:00 AM. All friends and acquaintances are invited to attend. A burial at sea ceremony will be private. Peggy will be forever loved and missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
