Peter Joseph Gregory was born in Gary, Indiana, August 2nd, 1948, and has resided in the South Bay for the last 40 years. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1968 and served for four years. He is survived by his wife, Renee Wilson, and leaves behind two sisters, Mary Gray and Ethel Gregory of Illinois, and two brothers, Joseph Gregory of Illinois and Anthony Gregory of Indiana. Peter has spent almost forty years in the shoe industry and traveled extensively all through the Far East in pursuit of shoes. Peter, who was 64, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by parents, Ethel and Peter Gregory. Peter loved sports of all kinds. He was an avid skier and tennis player in his younger years. The Memorial Service will be held at Rice Mortuary on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 3:00 pm. A reception follows in Rice's Lighthouse Room until 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Spastic Paraplegia Foundation, Inc., Los Angeles Mission or Feed The Children.
