Today she is with her husband of 62 years, survived by her 12 children, 29 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A lifelong Angelino, Phyllis earned degrees from Mount St. Mary's and Santa Monica College. She taught Kindergarten, became a Registered Nurse, volunteered for the American Red Cross and provided counseling services to couples in Natural Family Planning through the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. No more waiting Dad and I are home.
