Richard Lee Allison

Tuesday, May 14 at the age of 59. Born in Torrance, Ca on March 12, 1944,

Rich was a lifelong resident of the South Bay. On December 29, 2001, after

34yrs of service, he retired from Delta Airline as a Senior Coordinator.

Following his father's passion for antique automobiles, Rich belonged to several

clubs, including Antique Automobile Club of American, Beach Cities/lnland

Empire Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club and Cruisin Fifties South Bay.

He also loved to run marathons. His favorite was the Catalina marathon,

which he was able to complete this year on March 15th. Other interests included

aircraft archelogy, hiking and camping.

Richard is survived by his wife Susan Allison of Torrance; sons, Keith

(Deborah) Allison of Torrance and Clint (Tracy) Allison of Redondo Beach;

also grandaughters, Erika, Madeline and Skylar. He was a wonderful husband,

father and grandfather and we'll miss him greatly.

Visitation will be Friday, May 16th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the the White

and Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach. Memorial Services will be on

Saturday, May 17th at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church in Redondo

Beach.
