

Richard had many interests that included martial arts (Brazilian jiu jitsu, boxing, karate, wrestling, etc.), movies, screenwriting, politics, social justice issues, freelance journalism, travel, and exploring the city for hole-in-the wall restaurants and bookstores. He had a vast knowledge of movies, philosophy, political and social issues. His memory was also vast and he knew the nooks and crannies of the city and neighborhoods around Los Angeles County.
Richard had traveled to France, New York City, Hawaii, the Colorado Rockies, scaled the Austrian Alps, and had more adventures ahead of him. Richard also did outreach to distribute food to those in need.
Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Info Systems from California State University Dominguez. He continued studies in screenwriting. Richard wrote about a half dozen screenplays and an infomercial. He also produced his own television talk-show pilot and he was a member of the Screenwriters Guild.
Richard (also known as Rick or Ricky) is survived by his parents, sister, brother, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews who love and miss him.
