Hanratty, Richard Patrick, a 7 year resident of Torrance, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2008 in Torrance. Born in Beardsley, MN, Richard was 93 when he died. He had served 23 years in Army starting during WWII. He also was an avid gardener and tended the roses at the Pacific Inn. He is survived by Daughters, Patricia Barberis, Jeanne Gavish, Mary Kemp, and Margaret Monahan; a son, James Hanratty, and a sister, Alice Hanratty as well as 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach.
