Rita Hallemann was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 9, 1921. She was married to George Henderson for 67 years who preceded her in death in 2006. Rita passed away at her home on January 5, 2010 at the age of 88 years old. She is survived by her two sons , Michael (Arlene) and Gary (Melanie). She has four granddaughters, Natalie, Shelley, Nicole and Kelly and two great-grandsons, Daniel and Matthew. She loved her family very much. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Church for 56 years. She is truly going to be missed. Visitation will be from 6-9 PM. Monday January 11, 2010 at Rice Mortuary in Torrance. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM on Tuesday January 12, 2010 at St. Catherine Laboure Church in Torrance. Burial will follow immediately at Holy Cross Cemetery.
