Robert Applegate Beach passed away April 2, 2018. He went peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by sons, Steve, Bill, Tom, and daughter-in-law Reiko: grandchildren, Kiyomi, Rob and grand daughter-in-law Emily. Robert (Bob) was born in Rochester, NY March 16, 1924 and lived in Torrance since 1956. He was a long-time employee of TRW from 1955 to 1991. He was an avid hiker, runner, camper, peak bagger and was still hiking to the end. We are having a celebration of life service May 12, 2018 from 4:30 to 7:30 at the South Coast Botanic Gardens located at 26300 Crenshaw Blvd., Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA 90274. We will be sharing stories from his TRW, Boy Scout and Sierra Club days and serving a light supper. We invite anyone who knew him or his family to attend.
