Hoffmann, Robert, an 81 year resident of the Los Angeles area, devout parishioner of St. Anastasia Church and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at the age of 83.
Bob was born in Plainfield, N.J. but was raised in Ocean Park, Calif. He graduated from St. Monica's High School in 1941, was a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne during World War II and established a successful sales and marketing firm in the sporting goods industry.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; brother, Don; brother, Larry; daughter, Patricia; son, Peter; son, Paul; daughter, Pamela; fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He impacted the lives of all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Monica's High School or Kathryn Kurka Children's Fund in Bob's memory.
