Robert E. Johnson
August 10, 1920 – July 13, 2011
Robert was born in Jamestown, New York to Elmer and Elida Johnson. He served in World War Two 1940- 1945 in active combat. His career in radio and telecommunications began in the 1950's. Robert developed and taught his broadcasting course across the United States for over forty years. He was a long-time resident of Manhattan Beach, California He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his summers in Lake Chautauqua, New York.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, June; Loving daughters Wendy, Heidi, and Gretchen; Grandchildren Jennifer, Angela, Jayson, and Shannon; Nephews Howard, Robb, and Mike.
The love that his memory evokes will forever survive in our hearts.
