ROBERT WEIR, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2005 peacefully surrounded by his family. Born in Salem, Oregon June 24, 1944, he graduated from Oregon State University in 1965 with a degree in engineering. In 1975 he received an advanced degree in business from UCLA. He worked for various companies but his greatest joy was as an entrepreneur who started his own businesses where he developed new and innovated ideas. A devoted Christian, his heart-felt love was for his family and friends. A Bible Study Fellowship leader for many years, he also enjoyed coaching baseball, soccer and golf. His sense of humor left a mark on everything he did. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Nancy; his children Rob, Jr. (Pamela) Weir, Jason Weir and Julie (Tim) Coleman and his four beloved grandchildren; Jasia and Malia Weir and Riley and Spencer Coleman. Family and friends will gather for a memorial service at Rice Mortuary on Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 at 11:00 AM.
