You are gone too soon. I remember fondly our times speaking about Jiu Jitsu and your recommendations of what to see in Brasil. You will be deeply messed by everyone you came in touch with. Rest in peace champ. I will be praying for your loved ones that they will be comforted during this time.

Roger saved my life!! He was a warrior. My teacher and my life coach forever. He taught me how to be strong, I was able to lose 72 pounds with his guidance and support. I still follow his advice and instructions 
He was an amazing person and coach. I'm pretty he saved a lot of lives in his lifetime. He pulled people up, helped them out and supported them.
I will miss you my teacher!! Thank you for everything 🙏🙏

He was everybody's coach,friend,family,brother, and mentor. 
To me that was my other half. The half of my heart that I will never be able to fill or recover from. But yet Im gonna carry this pain with pride and remember everything you stood for everything you taught me I will pass to my kids I will make sure your name is known through generations dad. You were one of a kind. A man's man. My biggest inspiration was even trying to achieve %1 of what you have achieved in your life. Your life wasn't perfect but you made it count even in the end. Samba, pagode,  churrascos, familia, and a warrior thats what my dad was about. Having a good time and bringing a smile to people's faces May my dad FINALLY  rest in peace because we all know he deserved better than this. Te amo a infinito paizao meu coração sempre vai senti tua falta. Vo liga pra quem agora pai, vc era meu melhor amigo eu te falava tudo da minha vida mal e ruim vc sempre mi escutava pai. Ai como meu coracao doi da tua falta pai. Ate do teus gritos pai eu vo ter saudade de escuta. Nao vo ter vc pra puxa minha orelha mais. Que falta esse mundo vai sentir tua pai que deus te abençoe e te guia nesse passos agora. Eu te amo muito.

It was an honor to be part of your life❣️a man with a golden heart. Yet brutally honest, didn't take sh__t. From anyone❣️straight forward no bs . Loved that. He picked me up mentally when I was down and out. Toughened  me up , guiding ,teaching even showed me how to get out of a choke hold. Rest In Peace Roger🙏 You’ll forever be a memory of courage and strength, a man who never backed down. From my childhood  moments spent training Jui-Jitsu with you and Rudson, to learning how to stop being a wuss and just jump into the deep end, you were there influencing and motivating me. Thank you for all of the care and respect you gave me brother. May the Lord protect your spirit and guide you to the Father, so you may rejoice in salvation within the kingdom of heaven✝️

I’m so deeply saddened to hear that Roger is no longer with us. Who gave me the confidence and courage to start training Jiu Jitsu at the age of 40. Such an honor for me and my boys to have Rodger as our first professor. And he will always be remembered.
