Ron was born in Augusta, Maine. After graduation from Cony High School, he moved to California. He worked for Hughes Aircraft for many years.
In retirement, he enjoyed travel to visit family all over the country. He enjoyed meeting and talking with people wherever he met them.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wood, and numerous cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, sisters Violette, Dot, Lorraine and daughter, Rhonda.
