Rosa Elvira Fernandez - Zavala

Fernandez - Zavala, Rosa Elvira, a 21 year resident of Hawthorne, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 in Hawthorne. She was born in Trujillo, Peru. She was a teacher with a specialty on children with learning disabilities and she got retired after 25 years of service as supervisor of elementary education. She was a wonderful mom, a truly friend and a pet lover. Rosa was a member of Companerismo Christian Church and she enjoyed a lifetime of love and friendship. Her love of her culture and traditions have been passed on to her daughters.

She is survived by her Daughters, Fabiana, and Patricia. Preceded in death by Father, Aristides Fernandez and Mother, Marina Zavala.

A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Monday, March 9, 2009 from 4:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M.

The Service will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. A reception will follow in Rice's Lighthouse Reception Room from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.

Fernandez-Zavala, Rosa Elvira, Residente de la ciudad de Hawthorne California por 21 anos, fallecio el Martes 3, 2009 en Hawthorne. Ella nacio en Trujillo Peru. Ella fue maestra con especialidad en ninos con problemas de aprendizaje y se retiro despues de 25 anos de servicio como supervisora de educacion primaria. Ella fue una maravillosa madre, una verdadera amiga and una amante de sus perritos. Rosa fue miembra de La Iglesia Companerismo Cristiano, y disfruto toda su vida del amor y la amistad. El amor a su cultura y tradiciones han sido heredadas a sus hijas.

A ella le sobreviven sus hijas Fabiana y Patricia. Le antecedieron en muerte sus padres Aristides Fernandez y Mariana Zavala.

Una reunion de familia y amigos se realizara en el Rice Mortuary Chapel el Lunes, Marzo 9, 2009 a partir de las 4:00 p.m. a 11:00 pm.

El Servicio se oficiara en El Rice Mortuary Chapel el Martes, Marzo 10, 2009 a las 10:00 a.m seguida por una recepcion en El Lighthouse Reception Room a partir de la 1:00 pm a 3:00 p.m.
