Rosario Garcia Espinosa was born in Imperial Valley June 2, 1926 and passed away peacefully on September 10, 2016 . She resided in Imperial Valley and then Redondo Beach with parents Francisco and Inez Garcia, two sisters Dolores and Inez and three brothers Frank, Richard and Jesse. She served our country as " Rosie the Riveter "
She is preceded in death by her husband Marcus of 63 wonderful years. She is survived by daughters Rosario Flores (Mitch P. ), Ruth ( George) Hespe and seven grandchildren Deniese (Jeff) Jaskulsky, Heidi ( Billy) Thornton, Denielle ( Ashur) Agena , Heather ( Chris) Day, Darlene ( Chris) Castillon , John McBee, and Rob ( Genevie) Flores and 20 great grandchildren . Rosario was a loving wife, mother, nana, and great nana. She will be greatly missed.
The funeral mass and burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, 5835 W. Slauson Avenue, Culver City, Saturday Sept. 17th at 9:30 am.
