Rosetta Margaret Galindo

August 1923-June 2010

On June 4th Rosetta "Honey" Galindo entered into heaven. Born in Wisconsin, she came to California when she was 19 years old. She was the loving wife of Rudy Galindo for 47 years; sister to Harold Morrow; mother to MaryAnn Ritt, Bill Dolinac (Helen), Vickie "Teeder" Kennedy, Margie Evangelista (Michael); stepmother to RoseMarie Ortiz (Ramon), AnnaMarie Martinez, and Ricky Galindo (Susie) She was also the amazing grandmother to Rudy Ritt (Christina), David Ritt (Joann), Bill Ritt (Christina), Sharyn Martinez (Albert), Brian Andrus, Michael Kennedy (Patricia), Kimberly Kennedy, Berry Dolinac, and Michelle Benetier; and the most loving great-grandmother to Davey, Lauren, Sam, Nick, William, Kyle, Drew, Lil Rudy and step-great grandmother to Kyle and soon to make an appearance, Emma. On June 2nd, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert "Uncle Bob" Kennedy, whom she loved dearly, and was surely overjoyed in heaven at seeing her "Babaloo" as he was at seeing his "Mama Rose."

She will be missed forever and never forgotten by all who knew her. She loved to laugh and loved her family with great passion.

"If love could have saved you mom, you would have lived forever". May you find comfort in the arms of an angel.

Services will be held Saturday, June 12 at 6:00 PM at Rice Mortuary, 5310 Torrance Blvd. in Torrance, officiated by long-time friend, Pastor Steve Andrus. There will be a memorial, visitation, and reception to follow. All are welcome.
