To the Intermill family,  I was so sad to learn of Sam's untimely passing and wished I had been able to attend his service on Friday.  Sam was such a kind and generous soul and always made me feel special.  We had such a long history and remained friends throughout the years with sporadic visits and encounters.  He was so good about keeping in touch and we laughed and told stories at the last reunion.  He will remain a great friend in my heart with many warm memories always. My sincere condolences.  Janet

My deepest sorrow to the family and friends. I got to spend time with Sam twice this year.  I am so happy to have shared those moments together and our great Las Vegas trips over the past several years. This man was one great friend to all he met, he will be missed.

Sam Sr., Mark & Dee,   I am so sorry for your loss.  I just cannot believe Sam is gone.  He was so kind to my Dad, he sat in the hospital with him several times and even went to the ICU and I know that was very hard for him.   Your family has been through so much lately and I wish I had the right words to comfort you.  Sam will be missed by a lot of friends. Sam and I became friends and fraturnity brothers over forty years ago. Our birthdays were just 5 days apart. As we honored Sam at the Las Vegas, Rho Delt Reunion in 2006, I presented Sam with the "Jolly Good Fellow" Award because he has always been jolly, a great fellow, and we all respected him. At the 2007 reunion we shared our hotel room. He kept me awake and laughing until 4am telling endless stories and jokes, then he complained the next day that I kept him awake by snoring.   Have a good sleep my friend.   I will miss you.

We have so many fond memories with Sam over the last 37 yrs.He was such a big part of our everyday lives. Best man at our wedding,there for the birth of our daughter Amy,and many great vacations together. We will truly miss our best friend.

We are so saddened to hear of Sam's passing.  There are so many memories it would be difficult to share one special time.  Sam was so special.  We only just discovered this very sad news tonight--the night before his funeral and wish we had more time to send flowers, be there, and so much more. I have known Sam all my life.  He has always been such a important part of our family that's why I called him Uncle Sam.  I am feeling grateful for the years I had with my Uncle Sam.  We shared so many memories together, when I think of Sam I always think of laughter.  We need more people in this world like Sam, he was truly one of a kind and I will miss him deeply.  I am very lucky to have had Sam in my life.  I will miss you everyday Uncle Sam.

We so enjoyed seeing "Uncle" Sam at the Prichard family gatherings the past six years.  We will miss his smile, laughter, gentleness, warmth, and his love of God, friends, and family. We wish we could have known him longer.

My condolences to the Intermill family. Sam was a very special person to everyone he was in contact with. In the 1970's I went thru a very hard time in my life and Sam, Tommy Justice and Sam's mother Irene helped me get thru this very difficult time.  Sam has always been there for all his friends in time of need, and at times he wasn't asked for help!  That was Sam Intermill!! That was the special person that Sam was! He will be greatly missed by everyone that new him. To the Intermill Family and Friends,   I, like all of you will miss Sam's cheerful smile, his bubbly laugh and great sense of humor.     Sam always had kind words to say about everyone.  He was always there to help when you needed him.   I have so many fond memories from El Camino and the Rho Delt's functions of Sam.  He will be greatly missed by all.   When I look to heaven I will see three characters above smiling, laughing and carrying on.  Of course those three are Sam, Pete and Steve.
