Sister Constance Fitzgerald, C.S.J., age 107, passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 in Los Angeles, CA. Born November 13, 1913 in Spokane, WA, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet since March 19, 1931.
Sister Constance spent 52 years in education, primarily teaching English and writing. Sister’s life was always about service and making a difference. In her later years, when many “retire”, Constance started a creative writing program for the sisters in Holy Family Community called “Write-O’.
She is survived by her sister, Sr. Anne Gertrude Fitzgerald, many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
