Terry Gwenn Hale was born on November 6, 1955, five minutes before her twin brother, Jerry Lynn Hale, at Fort Saunders Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Her parents were Juanita A. (Condry) Hale (1923-1972) and Robert M. Hale (1917-1991). She passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 with her family at her side.
When she was still a baby, the family moved to Florida and lived there for about three years. The family moved to California when she was about four years old. Terry completed her 10th year of high school and would later go on to earn her high school diploma, which was something she was very proud of. She owned her own business for approximately 10 years, was an avid country music fan, and loved the rain more than sunshine.
Terry was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her two sons,
Paul and Robert Carbullido; daughter-in-law Rebecca Carbullido; two grandchildren, Robert, Jr. and Rachel; her twin brother, Jerry Hale; her two sisters, Joy Ventura and Tawana Gomes; sister-in-law, Mary Hale; two brother-in-laws, Chuck Ventura and Greg Gomes; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews; cousins; and friends.
Her memorial service will be held at the Rice Mortuary in Torrance, California, on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Viewing will take place at 9 a.m., and the service will start at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Pacific Crest Cemetery, 2701 West 182nd Street, Redondo Beach, California, with a reception to follow at Rice Mortuary at approximately 12:30-2:30 p.m.
