Vera is survived by her daughter, Joyleen ( Richard) Calef of Laguna Hills, CA; son, Dennis (Julie) Schwieterman of Gardena, CA; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary D’Aleo; her siblings Ted, Rose and her husband of 42 years, Paul Schwieterman. A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance April 28, 2011 from 4 to 8pm. The Service will be held at Maria Regina Catholic Church in Gardena on Friday April 29, 2011 at 10am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G Korman Breast Cancer Foundation.
