Smith, Verda M., a 50 year resident of Manhattan Beach , passed away on Monday, November 22, 2004 in Torrance. Born in Patton, PA, Verda was 84 when she died. Mrs. Smith was a member of Eastern Star #425 Fuschia Chapter, the Independent Telephone Pioneer Assc. and the BPOE #1378 Deers. She is survived by Daughter, Dorothy Burgess of Manhattan Beach, CA, Step Daughter, Christie Goodwin of CO, Step-Son, William Smith of OR, Grandson, David Burgess of Victorville, CA, and Grandaughter, Debra Bliss of Manhattan Beach, CA. Funeral Services will be held at the White & Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach on December 4, at 3:00 PM.
