Vincent Kenneth Hebson

Vincent (Bud) Hebson, an 18 year resident of Palm Desert, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 21, 2009. Born Sept. 2, 1926 in Evanston, IL, to Vincent and Francis (Alf) Hebson. He attended George Washington University after serving in the U.S. Army. Returning to Evanston, he met and married his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara McCollum Hebson. Together they relocated to Torrance, CA in 1950 where he began his career with Farmer's Insurance, until his retirement in 1988. He was a founding member of St. Lawrence Martyr Church. He was a huge fan of the UCLA Bruins, and LA Dodgers. He was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all and will be fondly remembered in our hearts. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his sons Mark (Jane) Hebson, Mike (NancyJo) Hebson, Matt (Leah) Hebson, and 5 grandchildren, Graham, Hayley, John, Lauren, Layne Hebson, all of Torrance. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 siblings, George Hebson, and Delores Hebson Buck.

Burial will be private. A Memorial Mass and celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be announced.
