Virginia worked for the phone company in New York City. She had a love for family, animals, and those in need.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Robert Meyer of Hemet, CA; daughter Barbara (Frank) Cohen of Williamstown, NJ; daughter, Donna Rosenberg or WA; daughter, Lorraine (John) Arvin of Manhattan Beach, CA; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary McCarthy.
The Service will be held at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Manhattan Beach on Tuesday August 4, 2009 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
