Owens, Wallace G. (Wally), a 38 year resident of Manhattan Beach , passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2003 at home. Born in Ontario, Canada, Wally was 69 when he died. He is survived by his best friend and wife, Karen, Sons, Ian (Cindy) Owens and Ron (Teresa) Owens, Grandchildren, Talia And Ariana. Also survived by a sister, Marjorie Thompson of Garden Grove. Wally was a past member of the Board of Managers Torrance South Bay Y.M.C.A. and long time member of South Bay Y's Mens Club. Memorial services, In Celebration of his life, will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2003, at the White and Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity HOSPICE Foundation.
