Bill was born in Orrville to William and Barbara Abel on Dec 29, 1956. The second of three children. On June 15, 1996, he was married to his wife Frances.
As a 1975 graduate of Orrville High School, he was a member of the OHS jazz band traveling to the Montreux Switzerland Jazz Festival and a four year letterman in baseball. After attending Case Western University and Ohio State, he graduated with a Mortuary of Science degree from Miami Dade and practiced in Florida and California.
Living in California since the early 1990s he continued to be an avid baseball follower and accomplished woodworker.
Services are Sat., April 9th at 2:00 - Lighthouse Memorial, 1016 W 164th St, Gardena, CA.
Private burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville, OH, in May.
