

Bill was born on November 26th, 1931 in Renville, Minnesota to William Sr. and Pearl Wolf. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who spent his life providing for and caring for his family. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he took great pride in his career and accomplishments.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, half-brother, Newell Carlson, sister, LeVerne, and his wife, Pat.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran who proudly served during the Korean War. Bill and Pat met while working at North Central Airlines and were married in 1957. In 1970, they moved from Minnesota to Southern California when Bill accepted a position as IT Operations Manager at Flying Tigers, where he designed and established a new computer center. He later retired to Hemet, California, following a long IT career in the aerospace industry.
Bill was well traveled and enjoyed boating, woodworking, and photography. He was a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan and a faithful churchgoer, attending services weekly.
Bill is survived by his five sons, Paul; Bill III (Cheryl); Tom (Monique); John; and Jim (Leslie); his daughter, Sheryle; nine grandsons, Jeff (Hannah), Brian (Briana), Scott, Eric (Kelly), Sean, Garrett (Lauren), Shane, Ryan, and Collin; his granddaughter, Erin; four great-grandsons, Enzo, Shane, Leo, and Felix; and two great-granddaughters, Remi and Jemma.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 29th, at 2:00pm.
A Celebration of Life reception for family members will immediately follow the Mass at a private family residence.
The Burial will be at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 at 11:30am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. James Catholic Church, Redondo Beach or through the VFW Foundation, designated for VFW Post 2828, in memory of William Wolf.
