Rev. Willie Nelson Payne, born December 2, 1936 in Birmingham, Alabama, died July 19, 2013 at his home in Lancaster, CA. He leaves to continue his legacy his devoted wife of 52 years, Betty J. Payne of Lancaster, California; four children, Wanda Payne Simms (Orlander) of Delano, California, Bonnie Rudd (Curtis) of Bellflower, California; Regina Buckhalter (Nick), of Belleville, Illinois; William Payne of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Ethel Anderson of Birmingham, Alabama; one brother-n-law, Robert Brewer (Celestine) of Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister-in-law Barbara Charles of Beckley, West Virginia; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Service for Rev. Payne to be held at New Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 402 E. El Segundo, Los Angeles, CA 90061 on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 11:00 am.
