She is survived by parents Barbara Abizaid and Donald Kemnitzer,
and was born on November 23, 1955 in Boston, Mass.
She resided in Somers, CT the first third of her life, eventually settling in
Stratton.
Karen is survived by two children: Cooper Bills of the San Francisco area and
Corey Bills of Stratton;
siblings: older brother Karl Kemnitzer, twin sister Kerry Kemnitzer-Yoshikawa,
and younger sister Darcy Kemnitzer.
Also left behind are niece and nephew Casey and Logan Hackett, and other
extended family members.
Her beloved "Bella" was a comfort until the end.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Stratton Town Hall on
Sunday, July 28 from 11-3.
