Daniel Austin

In his free time, Dan enjoyed golfing, and reading westerns. Dan was a huge Notre Dame fan and enjoyed talking about politics. On October 31, 1977, Daniel married Angela Brantley. They have since dedicated their lives to raising children.

Dan was a very devoted father and was known for his great sense of humor. As a father he took on many roles and was always there to lend his support and advice. He was a coach, teacher, and role model to all of his children and grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his wife Angela, children Paula (Mauricio), Brandi (Todd), Mark, Richard, Joshua (Kara), Krystal (Jason), Jose, Rudy, Tony, Cody, Jeff, Spencer and Cole. Also surviving are his grandchildren Monica, Amanda, Alison, Taylor, Francisco, Savana, Juan, Isabelle, Pablo, Bianca, Austin, Kameron, Chase, Cody, Alex, Brady, Connor, Paige, Quinton, Nickolas, Tyler, Jayden, Riley, Devin and Dylana, and great grandchildren Kayden, Chloe, Eli, AJ, and Jaxon.

A Celebration of Daniel’s Life will be held Wednesday, February 6th at 5:30pm at the American Legion Hall, 1231 Hastings Street, Traverse City, MI.
