Emily Ann Schneider

Emily Ann Schneider 50, of Traverse City passed into eternal life on Wednesday February 24, 2010 at her home, with her beloved family at her side. She was born in Grand Rapids on February 27, 1959, the daughter of George W. and Mary E. (Black) Shuck. Emily was employed at Tom’s Food Market as a bookkeeper. She is survived by three daughters; Samantha (Rich Wilson) Schneider, Andrea (Jodi Humphries) Schneider, and Danielle Schneider, four grandchildren; William, Wyatt, Riley, and Christian, her sister Susan (Jim) Vasher, her aunt Dorothy (Emil) Ergang, nephew Dennis (Nic Kendig) Kelderhouse, niece Nickole (Daniel) Cox, her special friends Stephanie Schneider, and Jeff Taylor, and many beloved friends and family. Emily was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Dorothy Weber. As per her wishes cremation has taken place, and a Memorial service will be held on Thursday March 4, 2010 at 11am at the West Side Community Church, 4975 E. Traverse Highway, Traverse City, Michigan, with Pastor John J. Clark officiating. Memorials may be given in Emily’s name to Hospice of Michigan or Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer.
