I was told the sad news of Jim's passing at our 52nd John Adams class reunion. I remember him to be so kind and fun to be with.

We bought Jim's house in Northville, Mi in 1992.  It was for sale by owner, and we became friends.  He was a wonderful man, very kind and thoughtful and I am saddened to hear of his passing.  Thoughts and prayers to his family..

It was a shock to hear about Jim's passing. He was a big, friendly presence here in Pass-a-Grille, up on everything and always sociable. A good neighbor, and a person who obviously enjoyed life and enjoyed getting things done. We will miss him very much. Our deepest sympathy to Wendy.

I just learned of Jim's passing and although I did not know him well, I felt such a loss at the news.  Jim was someone I always looked forward to exchanging a few words with when I met him on our daily walks in Pass A Grille. He was always friendly and so obviously enjoyed his morning walks, as I do.  I feel sad that I will not see his smile and hear his greeting in the future. He was a true gentleman. My deepest sympathies to his wife and family. Roberta Hoffman

Jim was a very special person and our years in the Rep business take us back over 40 years. He set the bar incredibly high during his lifetime, not only in his  professional life, but personal life too. We always looked up to him and his memory will stay with us always. 

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all his family members, as there is a HUGE hole in your hearts that was caused by Jim's passing.

Jim was a very special person with a never-ending smile and warm heart.  You could feel the warmth and happiness in his voice whenever he spoke.  Jim was always a pleasure to be with and talk to and he has given me many enduring memories.  He was a true friend and I will miss him.

BIG JIM as many of us called him was a very generous man. When he gave he gave with all of his heart. He always was very thoughtful and encouraging. He always thanked our family for all that we did for Terri and Tyler and was very sincere in his words. I always admired him and I always will on how much he loved his family. He was an amazing husband and father and a very special adopted dad in my LIFE. WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH BIG JIM LOVE THE EBERLINE FAMILY
