It is March, 2019 and I am just now learning that you have lost your beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. My heart is heavy with this news. John was our friend for many, many years, as well as, a doctor to our family. I have so many wonderful memories of the fun times at Spider Lake with John, Beth and family. John was so kind, and had a wonderful sense of humor. And he was a great physician!! As our families have scattered we've lost touch, but please know that you have my love and deepest sympathies for your loss. I'm sorry this is so late. I hope you all are doing alright, all things considered. The world lost a wonderful man. How blessed we were to know and love him. My deepest, heartfelt sympathies. Sue Bowersox

Dr Hoyt was our family doctor for all the times we lived in Holt. I think my mom had his home phone# because he would always be available to meet us at his office to stich me up, I have a love for knives. Dr Hoyt gave me more stiches in my life than I can count. I graduated with Jeff. RIP Doc!

Dr Hoyt was the best. When I fell and gashed my knee open at Holt Jr High school about 1969, he picked me up from school, took me to his office and took care of it. I have no scar today. Was always so kind.

I don’t know if I would have lived through my young years if it wasn’t for Dr. Hoyt. He was my Doctor from birth. He was awesome. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be able to have dogs in my life. He was the best Doctor ever. I was surprised to see he was so close I would have went to see him. I know he would have remembered me I was always sick as a kid. I really did miss something important to me. In being able to see him. I thought of him often.
Always wished I could see him. It broke my heart when he moved alway. And I think I have only seen quacks since. He was a wonderful man.. And a very good Doctor.

I met Dr. Hoyt at Munson Medical Center in the early years of my career as a medical transcriptionist. He was always friendly in his dealings with the medical records department. My sincere condolences to his family.

I remember Dr. Hoyt fondly as a kid growing up in Holt. Fun times at Spyder Lake with his kids. He was a kind man and will be missed.
