As a fellow postal employee, I only knew Pete at work. He would light up the room when he walked in with the smile he always had on his face---often made us wonder what he was up to! Sorry to hear that his retirement was cut short.  Prayers for him and his family.

Cathy and family, I was so sorry to hear about Pete.  Sadly, I was away in Montreal when I heard.  At least, there are many happy and funny memories for all that knew Pete.  I hear the funeral and the Vets memorial were packed to the roofs.  With not a dry eye at the service.  Good work, Pete.

 I am saddened by the loss of Pete. He loved to make people laugh and was always fun to be around. I'm a cousin and family reunions aren't going to be the same without him. My love goes out to Kathy and the kids, Aunt Clara, Roberta, John, Annette, Carla and their families.  You are in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to learn of Pete's passing. I have many great memories of Pete especially at the Willacker Family Reunions. One of the fond memories I have is Pete's hawaiian dressup at the 2006 Willacker Reunion. Everytime I look at those pictures on my facebook pictures I crack up laughing because Pete was such a character. His spirit was infectious and he was the life of the party at the reunions. Pete will be greatly missed as the rest of the departed Willacker loved ones including my mother Mary Frances Cummings (Gardner) and especially my grandmother Maxine L. Willacker, who I miss so very much.

My thoughts and prayers are with Pete's entire family and especially my prayers go out to Aunt Clara. Pete is my mother's cousin Mary Frances Cummings (Gardner) and Maxine Willacker is and my grandmother.

I am so saddened by the passing of Pete. Him and Kathy were like second parents to me growing up as I spent so much time there since we only lived two houses apart. He always knew how to get a laugh out of someone with his quick humor. Pete you will be greatly missed. God Bless. Where do you start with a man like Pete.  He loved his family.  He could fix just about anything.  Scout leader, friend to many.  Always ready with a joke, a smile with that twinkle in his eye.  Ready to help others anytime.  A man of his word.  Prayers and hugs for the family as they carry on.

I am sad to hear about Pete passing.  I am his cousin, and grew up with the Willackers in many activities and Pete and Roberta were friends since we were toddlers.  My prayers for the family at this time of grief.  Thank you to all of the family for the many special memories that you helped us have. I am so sorry to learn of Pete's passing.  We literally grew up together as cousins and played together with all other cousins our age.  It was a great time.  After his military stint, I was able to keep in touch with him as I was in the military at the same time.  He grew so much after the military and I always admired him when I saw him at reunions, weddings and funerals.
My prayers go out to his wife, all of the remaining sisters, brothers, all of their children, and especially for Aunt Clara.  I am so sorry.  Love to all of you.  Mike Gardner
