I met Nayfe and Nancy when they moved to Petoskey. We shared many friends and good times together. We became part of a deck party potluck group and later we skipped the potluck part and met monthly at restaurants! Nancy and I developed breast cancer about the same time but sadly she could not survive it. I have been at Independence Village for 2 years and was looking forward to welcoming Nayfe here this month. Sadly, I learned today of his passing. I know how much he will be missed by his family and many friends.
My condolences, Dee

I met Nayfe in 2008 when I first moved to Petoskey. He was 40 years older than I , but we hit it off and became fast friends. Nayfe was as generous and kind as anyone I have had the pleasure to know. I owe my business success to Nayfe as well as all of the perspective on how to live a good life that he shared with me along the way . By my troth I care not A man can die but once We owe God a death And let it go which way it may For he who dies today Is quit for tomorrow ... Godspeed Nayfe .... Your friend Chris

We shared many "Happy Hours" with Nayfe in Florida. Being from Detroit, we always had a great deal to reminisce. He was a wonderful man and a very generous man. We've missed him for a while now because he was not well. Our condolence to his entire family. Sal and Bernadine
