He was the loving husband of 68 years to Grace, who passed October 30, 2015; beloved father of Deborah (John Wakeman) Doyle, Christine (Paul) Deyo, and Jill (Timothy) Thompson; dear grandfather to Timothy, Nicholas, Peter, Grace, Jane and Hannah; great-grandfather of May and Murray.
He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 18, 2017, 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Richmond, Michigan. Memorial contributions made to Hospice of Michigan are appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home of Traverse City.
