Pauline Mabel (Middling) Dean, 97, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 15, 2018, at Maple Valley Nursing Home, Maple City, MI. She looked forward to seeing her loved ones once again.
Pauline was born on September 25, 1920. She was the last of her siblings to go home to her Heavenly Father, preceded in death by her husband Albert Dean, sister Frances Heminger, brothers Bill Middling and Ken Middling. There were no children.
Pauline was married to Albert before the start of WWII and she resided in Greenville, MI until Albert returned. They then moved to Lake Ann, MI where they were life long residents. Albert performed a number of jobs including farming and Pauline was a stay at home wife.
Together, they enjoyed many activities, especially maple syrup making, gardening, canning and camping. For many years they lived at the end of a road with their mailbox almost a mile away. Pauline was a great enjoyer of walking and it was one of her daily highlights to walk "down to the mailbox".
There will be a graveside memorial to honor Pauline's life at Greenbriar Cemetery, Lake Ann, MI, in May.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home Traverse City.
