Robert "Bob" Ayers

Bob married the love of his life, Dorothy Haut, on April 12, 1946 in Berwyn, IL. He worked as a semi-truck driver for Batavia Dairy and Nelson Brothers until he retired in 1988. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed fishing, boating, waterskiing, and camping. He was a great provider for his family and loved to spend time with his sons and grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy, sons Bob (Sandy) Ayers, Richard (Susan) Ayers, Michael Ayers, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Bud, Mildred, and Bill Ayers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City from 11am to 1pm, with the funeral service starting at 1pm.
