Ruby Culver

Ruby Lee Culver, age 84, of Traverse City formerly of Lansing, passed away peacefully Monday, May 28, 2012 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions. She was born August 23, 1927 in Henry Co. TN to Chestely Younger and Ruby Loraine Hicks. Ruby married the late Roland Culver and together they raised 3 children.

Ruby worked for 30 years at the Holiday Inn in Lansing. Any spare time she had was spent with her family or at the beach.

She will be greatly missed by 2 children: Cheryl Culver of Tampa, FL and Jeanine (Ronney) McCrum of Traverse City; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Roland and a son Ronald Culver.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City with visitation 1 hour prior.
