Steve was a dear friend who had a sharp wit and intellect. It was a long journey to finally get him to the surgery he needed that was fraught with complications that ultimately led to his sudden demise
but he fought hard to recover. I am still in shock and a feeling of overwhelming sadness that I will no longer get a call from him ranting about the latest political scandal, which he followed with passion. RIP my friend. You will be sorely missed.

Steve was my best friend. He knew exactly who he was and made no apologies. Sometimes that got him into trouble but he had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. Even though we weren't blood related we were family. And now our family feels broken. I still don't want it to be true. My brain can't reconcile something so sudden and unfair. But I am glad you are finally at peace. I'm glad you are no longer suffering. But I will always miss you dearly. Until we meet again... Rest in peace my dear friend.

I don’t know the deceased well but knew his mom and siblings. So sorry for your loss at this time of year. Keep him in your hearts and keep his memory alive. God Bless all of you

He will be dearly missed, everyone that knew him knew that he could have quite a sharp tongue on him but I believe down deep inside he loved everyone....... the family and I still cannot believe that we have lost another family member rest in peace bubba we miss you and we love you so much
