

Benjamin W. Kelley, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on August 30, 2025, at home in Tucker, Ga. Ben was born June 24, 1934, at Georgia Baptist Hospital . Ben was a loving and caring husband.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Madeline Wynne Kelley and his father, Benjamin W. Kelley, Sr., and a brother, Michael Kelley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Vickie B. Kelley of Tucker, Ga., and a daughter, Eva Colleen Warren, brother and sister-in- law, Mark and Cynthia Blakey, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ben and Vickie are current members of Berean Baptist Church, Lilburn, Ga.
Ben led an active and adventurous life. His love of metal working led him down paths of both vocation and pleasure. He was a detail craftsman and known for his appraising of rare guns and knives. He was an author of a book on pocketknife repairs that was distributed world wide. Ben was an authorized Case Knife technician for many years. He was an original charter member of the Chattahoochee Cutlery Club and a board member of the Knife Collector's Association.
He served as Past Master of Tucker Lodge 42 F.& A.M. and was a member of Mountain Park Masonic Lodge 729 F.&A.M. until his passing.
Ben served as chaplain of the SCV, Stone Mountain Camp 1432 for many years.
He was employed by Lockheed, United Methodist Children's Home, and retired from the Dekalb County School System.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 9th, at 10 a.m. with Funeral services starting at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memory Garden. In lieu of of flowers Ben requested contributions to the American Cancer Society, Golden Rule Hospice, or Berean Baptist Church.
