Bernice is survived by her daughter Lynn Lindsey (Ray); and her son Dan Price (Cris); her grandson Chris Lindsey (Emily), her grandson Corey Lindsey (Sarah), her grandson Danny Price (Carly), her granddaughter Nicki Price, her great grandson Grant, her great granddaughter Mallory, her great granddaughter Carolyn and her great granddaughter June; her brother-in-law Wayne Price (Jean) and several nieces and nephews.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Price, father Lee W. Walls and her mother Mary Corn Walls; her sister Lois Brown (Warren); her brother Ferman Walls (Reba), and her brother Forrest Walls (Marvella).
Bernice grew up in Hiawassee, graduated from Towns County High School, and moved to the Atlanta area with her best friend, Marilyn, where they worked together for Southern Bell as telephone operators. She lived most of her life in Tucker where she and Tom raised their children. Bernice attended Rehoboth Baptist Church in Tucker her entire adult life. She loved the Lord and lived her life for him every day. Her children and grandchildren love to tell stories about growing up with her. She was affectionately known as Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. At 89, she moved to assisted living in Oakwood to live the remainder of her life and to be closer to her children. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
A visitation for Bernice will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084, followed by a funeral service from 1:30 PM to 1:59 PM.
Bernice will be laid to rest in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, Ga 30084.
Serving as pallbearers are Brandon, Danny, Brent, Gary, Chris and Corey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Rehoboth Classical Christian Academy at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Tucker, Georgia.
