She was born in Atlanta, the daughter of the late Fred and Ethel Eubanks Yarbrough.
Mrs. Whitehead was an Outpatient Receptionist with Northside Hospital. She was a member of Arbor Point United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Whitehead and her grandson, Geoffry Whitehead.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Rogers of Hoschton; her sons, Thomas Whitehead of Pendergrass and Mike Whitehead of Henry County; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 2 pm in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Cameron officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
