Bobbie Sellers Krabe

Born in New Iberia, LA on September 7, 1940, she was the daughter of Robert Sellers and Mabel Barras Sellers. She graduated from Mt. Carmel High School and attended Dominican College in New Orleans.

Bobbie worked for 15 years at the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts of the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Louis Wayne Krabe; Daughters Kimberly Krabe Barnes of Jacksonville, FL, Kelly Krabe Spiggle of Cornelius, NC and Kristene Krabe Carter of Stone Mountain, GA. She was also the proud grandmother of Kaitlyn Winstel, Rob Rapp, Rebecca Rapp, Caroline Spiggle and Jackson Spiggle; Loving sister of Richard Sellers of New Iberia, LA and numerous nieces and nephews in Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Elizabeth Kay Krabe Rapp.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 4 - 8 p.m. at H. M. Patterson and Son, 1020 Spring Street, NW in Atlanta. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Downtown Atlanta with the Very Rev. Edward J. Thein as celebrant assisted by Deacon Mike Balfour. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Floral Hills Funeral Home.
