Carolyn Ann Rhodes

Carolyn is survived by her two children: Alchron Jones Rhodes III (Laura) and Cindy Thompson. She was the proud grandmother of Kathryn Patel, J Wesley Thompson Jr., Jackson Rhodes, Samuel Rhodes, and Henry Rhodes and great-grandmother to Kavya Patel, Elle Rhodes and Jayden Thompson. She also leaves behind two siblings, Sharyn Holdaway (Jon) and Bobby Birdsong (Debbie). Carolyn was preceded in death by two of her siblings, Tommy Birdsong and Lamar Birdsong (Linda).

Carolyn dedicated 25 years of services to the United States Post Office. She enjoyed family trips to the beach in the summer and getaways to the mountains in the Fall. She was an avid bowler. She loved celebrating family birthdays.

A memorial gathering will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday October 4th at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, Georgia for family and friends to come together and honor her life. Carolyn will be laid to rest beside her husband.

Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
