Winona was an ANGEL here on this Earth. She and I visited many times during the 4 years she and I lived here at Ashwood Meadows. We both were firm believers in ANGELS. Here on Earth this is our calling:
All who aim to become real followers of our Lord will try to live so much in tune with him that any time he needs us we are ready to become traffic ways for his angels. Winona was always ready for duty in that realm.
My last time with Winona alive was sitting at the foot of her hospital bed. Upon leaving she asked for an Angel hug from me. I’ll never forget that night. The next visit that I will have with her is in Heaven.

It was always such a pleasure to visit with Winona. I have fond memories of us sitting and chatting in her lovely apartment. She was a true charming, southern lady, the real deal! What an absolutely beautiful woman she was-inside and out! But she would deny it every time I complimented her. She would say, oh no honey, you are. And I loved the way she called me darlin'! When I would leave after a visit with my sweet, wonderful friend, I did walk a little taller because that's how she made me feel!
I loved her, I miss her.

I am honored and blessed to have known Ms Winona these past few years not only as her Mary Kay beauty consultant, but more importantly, as a very dear friend. She was truly a blessing in my life. I will miss our visits very much. May God grant her eternal rest.

I lived at Ashwood Meadows and treasured my friendship with Winona. My prayers are with her and her family. It is consoling knowing she is with the God she loved.
